Die KE-Finder-Apps ist eine mobile Hilfe für die Einschätzung des Kohlenhydratgehalts der Nahrungsmittel.
Sie soll dem Diabetiker einen Anhaltspunkt für die Insulinzufuhr geben.
Das Programm soll das Mitführen eines Kohlenhydrateinheiten-Buchs ersetzen.Zur Optimierung der Insulin-Therapie ist die genaue Kenntnis des Nährstoffgehalts von Lebensmitteln notwendig.
Als sinnvolles Schätzmittel werden gerne die Kohlenhydrateinheiten oder abgekürzt KE (KHE) genutzt.
KE werden zur Berechnung der Insulindosis verwendet.
Eine Kohlenhydrateinheit wird im Allgemeinen als die Menge eines Nahrungsmittels definiert, die 10 Gramm an verdaulichen und damit blutzuckerwirksamen Kohlenhydraten in unterschiedlicher Zucker- und Stärkeform enthält.
Die neue Kohlenhydrateinheiten-App soll das Mitführen eines Kohlenhydratbuchs ersetzen.
Die App basiert auf einer Datenbank mit mehr als 8.700 Grundnahrungsmittel (Update 17.
August 2014) und industriell hergestellten Lebensmitteln.
Der Nutzer kann die Nahrungsmittel entweder über die Produktgruppe, den Hersteller oder auch über eine Volltextsuche ermitteln.
Die KE werden, wenn nicht anderes angegeben, pro 100 Gramm angegeben.Die KE-Tabelle ist nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen zusammengestellt.
Sie kann aber trotzdem Fehler enthalten.
Auch wenn viele Werte von den Herstellern der Nahrungsmittel, der Universität Hohenheim, dem Deutschen Lebensmittelschlüssel und der US-National Agricultural Library stammen bzw.
abgeleitet sind, sind die Werte nicht von Fachleuten geprüft worden.
Daher kann die KE-Tabelle nur eine Orientierungshilfe sein.
Sie entbindet Sie nicht, Ihre Blutzuckerwerte nach der Einnahme von Speisen zu überprüfen.Für die Richtigkeit der KE-Tabellen oder eventuell darin enthaltene Fehler übernehmen wir keinerlei Haftung.
